We are looking forward to welcoming you to our family restaurant. See below for some FAQs and reservations form to book a table with us.

If you can’t see a time available or have made a last-minute decision to dine with us, we always keep a few tables in our back pocket for walk-ins. There is also always a chance of a cancellation so if you are flexible with time, it’s worth popping by and we’ll do everything we can to get you a seat at our Italian table!

We always send a booking confirmation when you book online, however sometimes those pesky spam/junk filters get in our way, so please check your junk folder too.

Please note our lovely outside tables are not bookable, they are available on a first come basis. So, pop along and see.

Large Bookings:
Online reservations are now available for groups of up to 9 guests.

If your party is 10 people or more, please email info@pinocchio.co.uk or call us on 01273 677676, and we’ll be happy to help arrange your booking.

Parties of 10 or more people will require a £100 deposit and parties of 20 or more a £200 deposit to secure their booking.

If you’re visiting Pinocchio soon, here’s everything you might need to know.

Do I need to book a table or can we walk in?

We welcome you to utilise the booking system below to reserve a table with us.

BUT if you can’t see a time available or have made a last-minute decision to dine with us, we always keep a few tables in our back pocket for walk ins. And there is always a chance of a cancellation so if you are flexible with time, its always worth popping by and we’ll do everything we can to get you a seat at our Italian table!

We would recommend bookings, however, for larger groups over 10.

Can I specify if it’s inside or outside?
Our lovely outside tables are not bookable, they are available on a first come basis. So pop along and see. Please be aware that not all of our outside areas are covered or have heaters.
Can I request to sit in a specific area when booking?
We can make note of your desired table request within the restaurant however cannot guarantee especially during busy periods.
How long can we keep our table?
We hold tables for 15 mins and then release them if you have not arrived/or we have been contacted. We allocate your tables for 2.5 hour for larger bookings or 2 hours for tables of 2.
Are we dog friendly?
As we are such a busy restaurant, we only allow dogs to sit with you outside. Of course, we welcome guide dogs and assistance dogs.
How can I find out about allergen information?
Please make sure you let your server know if you have an allergy or dietary intolerance so they can make the kitchen team aware and assist with any queries. Allergen information is also available to view online. Please remember that it is not possible for us to guarantee that any product is 100% free from any allergen.
Do you do something special for birthdays?
We do place a sparkler in an ordered dessert – please let your server know of any birthdays when ordering.

You are more than welcome to bring along your own cake too and a few simple decorations for the table (not glitter or confetti).

Can I pay cash?
Yes we have both card and cash facilities.
Can I book a table just for drinks?
No – we are a restaurant serving food mostly so would request food is ordered when visiting Pinocchio.
Cancellation Policy

We kindly ask all guests to provide at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes to their booking.

Please note that a charge of £20 per person will apply in the event of a no-show.

As a small independent restaurant, we greatly appreciate as much notice as possible for any cancellations or amendments to party size. This allows us to offer the table to other guests.
Cancellations can be made via the link included in your booking confirmation, or by contacting the restaurant directly by phone or email with your booking details.

Large Party Bookings

For larger party reservations, a £100 (10+) to £200 (20+) deposit is required to secure your table.

  • A full refund will be issued for cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to your booking.
  • Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for guests who do not attend their reservation.
  • Due to high demand, bookings will be automatically cancelled if the deposit has not been received at least 48 hours in advance of the reservation.

Are you wheelchair accessible and so we have accessible toilets?
Yes! We cater for mobility issues, wheelchair and have an accessible toilet on the ground floor. Please request ground floor when booking if you require this.
Do we need to pre-order?

We don’t require pre-orders at Pinocchio allowing you the freedom to order at the time of dining.

Are you offering a children’s menu?
Yes, we have a great Bambini menu available.

Nothings too much trouble

Fabulous family restaurant where nothing was too much trouble. They didn’t have one ingredient for my son’s meal. So gave him the option of adding something else. The manager ensured everything was to our liking and took notice of comments rather than doing it as a matter of course. I noticed he made an effort to chat to every table. It made for such a lovely relaxed atmosphere and with wonderful fresh, well priced food and drink. I will certainly return again next time I’m in Brighton.

Perfect family lunch

Perfect family lunch and amazing value at Pinocchios. We all enjoyed our meal and found it very filling. This will definitely be on our list of places to return to when visiting Brighton.

The best pasta outside of italy!!!

My family and I came to Brighton for a weekend away and ended up eating here on both days. All the food - main, sides and desserts were lovely! I haven't had a pasta that tasted that good since being in Italy! The food was nicer here than at the some of the more highly ranked restaurants in Brighton. Friendly family run restaurant. Clean, well priced. Would thoroughly recommend.

As good as ever!

It was lovely to visit Pinocchios after quite a long time and to find it was better than ever. From the initial friendly response when I phoned to reserve, through to our delight on arriving to be find their extended outdoor seating area, the food and service were great and so reasonable in price for an evening meal. Lots of atmosphere for a warm September Monday evening. Thank you Pinocchios.
